Photography Coaching for Tween Empowerment That Changes Lives

I am so excited to finally share this. I am now offering coaching and education for photographers who want to build meaningful, profitable businesses while making a real impact through their work. This includes Tween Empowerment Photography, experience-based portrait sessions, in-person sales, and building a business rooted in empathy, connection, and purpose.

Photography has the power to shape how people see themselves, and I believe photographers are uniquely positioned to use that power in ways that truly matter. Coaching photographers to do work that changes lives while strengthening their bottom line feels like a natural and incredibly energizing next step.

After 28 years of running a successful full-time portrait studio, I have learned what works, what does not, and what truly lasts. I have invested thousands of dollars every year in photography education, business coaching, conferences, and mentorship so I could continue to grow as both an artist and a business owner. It is time for me to help other photographers with everything I have learned from real-world experience, tested strategies and a deep belief that photography can be both impactful and profitable.

Coaching and Courses Built on Nearly Three Decades of Experience

After nearly three decades as a full-time portrait photographer, I have learned what truly works. Not just creatively, but relationally and financially. I have invested thousands of dollars and travelled across the United States every year in education, coaching and industry events because I believe great photographers never, ever stop growing.

What I am sharing now through coaching and courses is the result of all of that learning. Real-world experience, tested strategies and a deep understanding of how to build a photography business that is both impactful and profitable.

Photography Coaching Rooted in Empathy and Connection

At the heart of my photography and coaching is one simple belief. People deserve to see themselves the way they truly are. Beautiful, worthy, and enough just as they are.

That belief is what led me to found Sparks of Kindness, a movement created to encourage intentional acts of kindness and compassion in everyday life. What began locally has grown far beyond what I ever imagined, reinforcing something I have always known to be true. When people feel seen, valued, and loved, real change happens. I belive that doing a business with this in mind can change lives. So much…that I had this mral painted on our flower farm and studio.

That same heart has shaped the way I photograph, teach, and coach.

Photography Coaching and Courses

My photography coaching is rooted in empathy, connection, and meaningful in-person experiences. I work with photographers who want to move beyond surface-level sessions and digital-only thinking, and instead create experiences that help clients feel confident, celebrated, and deeply seen. This includes experience-based photography, in-person sales, pricing with confidence, and building businesses that honor both the client and the photographer.

Coaching for Photographers

Alongside nearly three decades of running a successful full-time portrait studio, I hold certifications that allow me to facilitate empowerment workshops for women and girls. Combined with years of ongoing photography education, business coaching, and real-world experience, this foundation shapes the way I coach photographers today. My coaching supports photographers who want to create meaningful work, lead workshops or events, and build profitable businesses rooted in empathy, connection, and impact.

Alongside my work as a portrait photographer and coach, I hold certifications that allow me to facilitate empowerment workshops for women and girls. This training has given me tools in group facilitation, confidence-building exercises, and leading meaningful conversations. Those skills translate directly into coaching photographers who want to teach, lead workshops, or host empowerment-focused events of their own.

This experience allows me to support photographers not only in building strong businesses, but also in confidently guiding others through experiences that create real and lasting impact.

Tween Empowerment as a Powerful and Growing Focus

One of the most meaningful areas this work has grown into is tween empowerment. Tweens (9-12 year olds) are at a pivotal age, beginning to figure out who they are while outside voices grow louder. When adults step in intentionally during this season, the impact can last for years.

Empowerment through photography, workshops, and experiences allows kids to see themselves through a confident and affirming lens before comparison and pressure take hold.

Courses Available Now for Photographers

Right now, I offer two courses designed specifically for photographers.

Why Tweens helps photographers understand why the tween years matter so deeply and why serving this age group is both meaningful and smart for a growing photography business.

Tween Empowerment Photography is a comprehensive course that teaches photographers how to confidently create empowerment-focused sessions that make a real difference for kids while adding a unique and in-demand genre to their studio.

More Courses and Coaching Coming Soon

This is just the beginning. I am actively developing additional courses and coaching opportunities not only for photographers, but also for moms, creatives, and anyone who feels called to empower tweens through workshops, events, and meaningful experiences. Courses and events for tweens are currently being held in person but will soon be available online as well.

This work reaches far beyond photography alone. It is about equipping adults to step in at a pivotal age and remind kids of who they are before the world tells them otherwise.
