The Heart and Soul Behind the Dream Team: A Journey of Empowerment

Hey there friends, I want to take a moment to share something deeply personal with you—a story that’s been 25 years in the making. As a photographer, my mission has always been clear… to capture the beauty in everyone, just the way they are. But more than just capturing it, it is about helping people see that beauty for themselves.

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of photographing countless individuals. Time and time again, I’ve witnessed a common struggle – a lack of self-love and acceptance. It breaks my heart to see so many amazing people doubting their worth, their beauty, their very essence.

That’s why I’ve dedicated myself to changing that narrative. Years ago, I had created a division within my photography business specifically aimed at empowering women. It was so much more than taking photos. It was about helping these women see themselves through a lens of kindness, compassion, and self-love.

I absolutely loved it because I had spent my first 40 years disliking most everything about myself. Once I had an epiphany, I decided to help as many people as I could. I wanted to dive deeper into the world of empowerment and life skills, to equip women with the tools they need to navigate life’s challenges with confidence and grace. So, I traveled to Idaho several times to get certified to teach workshops on empowerment, decision-making, boundary-setting, and so much more.

These workshops became a passion project for me—a way to empower women to embrace their own unique beauty and worth, without comparing themselves to others. It was about helping them discover their inner strength, resilience, and capacity for greatness.

I feel called to extend that same love and support to a new generation of young women…high school seniors and even younger, for the tween girls.

I have noticed that younger and younger people need this same exact encouragement and support. My Senior Rep Team has evolved into so much more the last couple of years and now that I have the space, I can do even more for the seniors.
